Emily Mitterhuemer

Emily has four years experience in the television industry starting out as a producer for the Sky News Business Channel.

Emily co-founded Stem Media in 2010 and has worked as a writer and reporter for various clients, including Yahoo 7! Finance, Kochie’s Business Builders, Intrepid Travel, Monocle for Bloomberg, University of Sydney and many more.  Emily has scripted all the news pieces done by Stem Media including a documentary for the Steven Walter Foundation. She has strong experience in interviewing on camera and has hosted the Macquarie Digital coverage of the Macquarie Securities Conference in Sydney. Emily is also an accomplished editor and has a knack for creating news packages and promo reels. Her strengths lie in understanding a clients needs and bringing the right people together to create the best team. Emily is also a published stills photographer

During her time at the Sky New Business Channel she moved from producing to programs producing and reporting on camera. She was part of the Logie Award nominated team for their coverage of the Global Financial Crisis. She also currently freelances as a producer and reporter with the ABC’s Business Today and Lateline Business program.
